 Dr. Pirudhan Karak

Pirudhan Karak graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Science from Vidyasagar University, West Bengal, in 2015. After that, he joined IISER Bhopal as an Integrated PhD student and, in 2017, he started his doctoral research under the supervision of Prof. Joyanta Choudhury. Research work can be categorized into the following research areas- (i) transition-metal catalyzed C–H activation catalysis at NHC Platform, (ii) Sustainable electrochemical CO2 reduction/proton reduction catalysis using organic molecular electrocatalyst (NADPH-like Co-factor), and (iii) supramolecular chemistry (i.e., functional π-conjugated molecules, heterohelicenes, metallohelicenes).
